That Podcast Thing is a UK based podcast network that is building up an interesting portfolio of shows. We start with Home Movie Club, where, for each episode, we take an irreverent (and many times irrelevant) look at the highest grossing movies since 1930.

Home Movie Club Episode 12 - "Inexplicable Accents"

    Kong! Kong! Kong! Kong!

Yep, in this episode we have been watching the highest grossing movie of 1933, King Kong. But is this a Great Ape, or does this movie just make a monkey out of all of us?

Home Movie Club Episode 11 - "They're taking the hobbits to Isengard!"

This time we look at 2002's top grossing movie, Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers. A movie that is so long that it nearly broke the podcast, BUT not so long as to not have multiple confusing problems for anyone who had not seen the first movie in a while.

Home Movie Club Episode 10 - "Release the Kraken"

This time we step back to 2006 for Pirates of the Caribbean - Dead Man's Chest, staring Johnny Depp. The first 'Pirates' film didn't make the list so we have also released a mini-episode covering that film.

Home Movie Club Episode 8 - "Foreshadowing"

This time we head back to 1935 for Mutiny on the Bounty, starring Clarke Gable. But did the crew of the good ship Home Movie Club mutiny against this film or did they stay loyal to their Captain? Listen and find out...

    You're a Wizard, Harry!

This time we look at the highest grossing movie of 2001, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. (Known as Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, if you live in North America...)
